Sauna, silence and subzero air
Wellness here has no spa menu or therapist team. Instead, guests have access to two distinct sauna experiences, a private indoor sauna with a glass-fronted shower room in the chalet, and a traditional wood-fired outdoor sauna, both part of the wider Finnish sauna tradition, alongside an outdoor hot tub on the terrace deck.
The lounge-kota, with its open fireplace, offers a further space for rest and quiet gathering, all set against open Arctic landscape with the Northern Lights visible from the property on clear nights.
A day with Sámi reindeer herders
The heart of a stay is a day spent with hosts Mia and Niti, learning directly from Sámi herders rather than through a staged demonstration.
Every activity is guided privately and shaped around the group and the season, including snowmobile journeys across open tundra, husky expeditions through Arctic landscape, and dedicated Northern Lights hunting on clear evenings.
What's included, and getting ready
Full Arctic thermal clothing is provided for every outdoor activity as standard, alongside a private cultural welcome from Mia and Niti on arrival. Private airport transfers from Tromsø or Enontekiö can also be arranged on request. Rates are available on request and quoted on an exclusive-use basis for the full property, varying by season and duration.

Both saunas, along with the outdoor hot tub, are entirely private. The Reindeer Ranch is booked on an exclusive-use basis, so every facility is used only by your own group for the length of the stay.
What does a day with the Sámi hosts actually involve?
It is led personally by Mia and Niti and shaped around the group, typically combining time learning about reindeer herding with activities such as snowmobiling, husky expeditions or Northern Lights hunting, depending on the season and conditions.
Is thermal clothing provided, or do we need to bring our own gear?
Full Arctic thermal clothing is provided for every outdoor activity as standard, so guests do not need to arrive with specialist cold-weather kit of their own.
