Lopota Lake Resort & Spa sits in the Lopota Gorge in Kakheti, Georgia’s wine region, fifteen minutes from Telavi and around ninety minutes from Tbilisi. What began in 2008 as a single idea, a resort built around a then-forgotten lake, has grown into sixteen buildings set across sixty hectares of forest, vineyard and shoreline, open across all four seasons. The resort keeps its own winery, Château Buera, on the grounds.
